1. The Unispan reopens

The Unispan official reopened on Friday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. The announcement was made through a campus-wide email sent by President Susan Poser. She wrote that the New York State Department of Transportation gave approval for the Unispan to be reopened to foot traffic. However, cosmetic repairs will be made both internally and externally throughout the month of December, and the specialized glass has yet to be replaced.

2. Visit Undergraduate Research Day

Take a break from studying and visit the Undergraduate Research Day exhibit in the Student Center Multipurpose Room on Monday, Dec. 12, at 11:30 a.m. Students across all academic disciplines will be showcasing their work from this semester and answering questions about their research projects. And to all the students presenting their research that day: congratulations!

3. The Pride Pantry

Just a reminder that Hofstra’s Pride Pantry is open to anyone who needs help securing food these last few weeks of the semester. The pantry is located in the Health and Wellness Center on the North Campus. You can schedule an appointment by emailing PridePantry@hofstra.edu. To anyone with leftover meal points: donations are highly encouraged. Pasta, canned soups and vegetables, and granola bars are just a few of the wanted items. You can find the full list of wanted donations here.
